With over a decade of experience as a designer, I am as versatile as a Swiss Army knife on a camping trip. Although I work primarily on visual identity and editorial design (the Big 3 of Adobe are my jam), I can also do motion graphics, coding, and 3D modeling, to name a few. And I am eager to keep expanding my toolkit.
I specialize in branding to explore my breadth, participating in the many touch points of projects. I have a holistic view of design as problem-solving. Understanding each client's business and helping them achieve their goals drives me forward.
My love for typography, grids, and precision expands beyond layouts. There's something incredibly satisfying about organized files, calendars, and clear communication.
Born and raised in Brazil, I received a BFA in Industrial Design and double-majored in Graphic Design. I then worked with several leading Latin American organizations within the public and private fields, winning national awards along the way.
In search of new challenges, I obtained my MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Florida. I also pursued a Minor in Entrepreneurship, focusing on the business of design.
For the last seven years, I have balanced teaching in higher education and freelance design work. I always seek opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration. Recent examples would be co-teaching VR for the Social Good; running Design Thinking workshops with IDEO; teaming up with UNA's culinary program in their Brew Challenge event; and facilitating the brand redesign of the now division one UNA Athletics.
After relocating to Tampa to be closer to my wife, family, and cultural roots, I am excited to see what the future holds.
